A sad day for the Diocese of Peterborough as Sally Crossley retires

It was a sad day on Wednesday 18th December as staff members past and present bade farewell to Sally Crossley, who is retiring at the end of this week (Friday 20th December). Based at our Bouverie Court office in Northampton, Sally has been the Administrator for three teams at the Diocese of Peterborough for the past 12 years, and Paul Adams – Stewardship Officer for the Diocese of Peterborough – paid tribute to her:

“Sally has tremendous organisational skills and has also run the administrative side of the Bishop’s Bible Days and the Starburst children’s conferences since they started. We will miss her efficiency but most of all her great sense of fun and humour. The twinkle in the eye will be dim in the office from now on!”

A special presentation was made to Sally to thank her for all her hard work. A speech was given by Pete White, Director of Children and Youth for the Gen2 Team, and Sally was presented with a card signed by all the Diocesan staff members, beautiful bunches of flowers and a signed framed photo of the Northampton Saints squad.

Thank you for all your hard work, Sally. We will miss you!
