Pray with us daily (wherever you are) at 8:45am – a message from Archdeacon Richard

Many people are having to pray on their own at the moment. The few diocesan staff who are currently still working from Bouverie Court in Northampton are going to light a candle every weekday morning at 8:45am and pray for the Church, this nation and God’s world. Why don’t you do the same? Light a candle at 8:45am and pray with us.

The candle is a reminder that Jesus, the Light of the World, continues to shine in the darkest of times. Jesus will be with you in your home (or wherever you are praying) and with us here at Bouverie Court. We are united in him.

In addition, one of us will be recording a short ‘Thought for the Day’ a few times a week and this will be uploaded onto the diocesan YouTube channel. The link to the channel is here – so why not take a look? It’s really important to keep in touch and encourage one another.

We’ll talk to you soon!

With the promise of our prayers,

Richard Ormston
Archdeacon of Northampton
